The Psychology of Money

Most (if not all) of us have issues about money: We have our own beliefs, expectations, and feelings about having money (or not) and what it represents. Most of our thoughts about money are rooted in our early life. The truth is that money is a form of exchange and it is neutral. It is the attitudes and thoughts that we develop about money that can hinder or help our way to financial success. Understanding your thought process is vital to getting you to where you want to go.

Research has shown that money does not bring happiness, although, it is sure fun to think about how much fun we would have it we inherited a ton of money or won the lottery. Interestingly enough, people who come into sudden wealth, often find themselves less happy once the reality of their new life has set in. The key is to discover your own strengths about your attitudes about money, as well as the walls you create to keep you from getting to where you want to be.
